Your Journey Awaits...
Spiritual healing is a long, winding path with many twists, turns, ups and downs. Sometimes it can feel as though we're going backward. It's not an easy journey nor is it for the faint of heart. Everyone who embarks on this journey starts from a different place, ends in a different place, and takes a completely different journey from everybody else. That's not to say that there is no commonality, because there are many points along the way where we meet up with others who have come to the same point in the journey. For some that point is at the beginning, for others it was a long time coming, and still others don't even know it's there yet. Regardless of how you got to this point, how you found yourself here, and whether or not you stick around, I'm glad you've found this.
Personally, this point in my journey is a long time coming. I started healing over 10 years ago, after my last mental breakdown. Life had stopped making sense and I finally decided I was better off to figure out how to put it back together in my own way and not in the way others told me I should. Insecurity and people-pleasing were how I functioned in the world. I created a life based on what others thought I should do. Consequently, I found myself in enough pain that I could no longer keep up the appearance I was trying to maintain. I had to create my life my own way. I wasn't going to survive if I didn't.
So, what is this place? What will you find here? I started on a path of spiritual self-mastery - mastering ourselves within the experience without needing to change, control, or manipulate the experience in any way. I've since expanded on spiritual self-mastery to add in a sprinkle of existentialism, a dash of moral nihilism, a cup of neutrality, and a healthy sprig of acceptance to create my own recipe for how to be in the world. To put it more bluntly, I've abandoned most societal norms and expectations, done away with ideas around right and wrong, good and bad, morality, religion, and politics.
What you will find here is a lot of information about all of those different constructs and how I put them together and use them to see the world in a way that isn't so filled with fear and pain. This is the place where both the old and the new converge to form the present. I explain the original concepts I started with like self-mastery, while exploring new topics like existentialism and nihilism, and then combining them to make one unique philosophy on life and how the world works.
Below you will find links to specific topics, articles, downloads and resources to help you explore concepts like spirituality, self-mastery, religion, existentialism, neutrality, duality, morality, nihilism, and even some politics in your own way. I'm not here to tell you how to see the world, I'm here to encourage you to explore how you see the world and whether it's your perception that is the thing that causes you pain. I have learned through my own journey that it was not my experience that was the problem - it was my perception of my experience that was the problem. I changed the thing I had control over, which was my perception, and left the rest alone. That in itself, allows me to create helpful meanings out of every experience I have, no matter whether the experience is perceived as good or bad. That alone is life-changing.
Love to all.
